1. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed taking oath as chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir
After 49-days of Governor rule PDP leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed taking oath as chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir on 01 March 2015 with BJP for the first time in the state government.
PDP leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed take oath by Governor NN Vohra at Zorawar Stadium in presence Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leaders — L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, party President Amit Shah and general secretary Ram Madhav.
2. Indian Navy resolved TROPEX Exercise 2015
Indian Navy resolved its Theatre Level Readiness and Operational Exercise (TROPEX)-2015 on 27 February.

6. IDC released a report on Indian Smartphone market
International Data Corporation (IDC) released a report on Indian Smartphone market on 24 February 2015 for the fourth quarter of 2014. South Korean handset maker Samsung is on top position in the Indian Smartphone market with 22%.
7. Haryana Government increase money prize under Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme
State Government of Haryana announced to increase prize under the Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme from 50000 rupees to 1 lakh rupees on 27 February 2015. The prize was constituted under Rule 16 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. The money will transferred in Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna (PMJDY) bank accounts.
8. Union Government blocked private email network
Union Government blocked private email network like Gmail and YAHOO to use in official work Government notified E-mail Policy of Government of India and Policy on use of Information Technology resources of Government of India on 18 February 2015.
Now for official work only e-mail provided by National Informatics Centre (NIC) shall be used for official work.
9. Words Ride-share, unboxing, bioprinting and vishing are added to Oxford Dictionary
The meaning of Ride-share is to participate in an arrangement in which a passenger travels in a private vehicle driven by its owner, for free or for a fee, especially as arranged by means of a website or app.

Bharat Puri appointed Managing Director of Pidilite Industries Limited on 27 February 2015 and effect from 10 April 2015.
11. Ericsson sued Apple for telecom patent infringement
Ericsson sued (पर मुकदमा दायर) Apple for telecom patent infringement on 26 February 2015 and Ericsson also filed two complaints to International Trade Commission (ITC) and seven complaints in United States District Court against Apple.
12. For information on Evgeniy Mikhailovich Bogachev FBI announced $3 million
Evgeniy Mikhailovich Bogachev is one of the FBI’s most wanted Cyber criminal from Russia.
So US State Department, the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced prize of $3 million for information on him on 24 February 2015.
13. Wipro won seven prizes at the CIO Choice Honour and Recognition 2015
Wipro won seven awards at the third annual edition of the CIO Choice Honour and Recognition 2015 on 19 February in the categories of Managed IT Services, Managed Security Services, Enterprise Infrastructure Automation Services, Systems Integrator, Network Maintenance Services, Service Assurance Program, and Application Managed Services by the CIO community.
14. South Africa’s AB de Villiers hit the fastest 150 runs in ODI  
Captain of South Africa cricket team AB de Villiers hit the fastest 150 runs in one-day internationals (ODIs) on 26 February 2015 against West Indies in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Sydney, Australia. He broke the previous best record of Australian Shane Watson by 19 balls. He took 162 runs from 66 balls.
15. Martin David Crowe included into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame
Martin David Crowe is Former New Zealand cricket captain was included into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame on 28 February 2015 during the innings break of the New Zealand-Australia match in the 2015 World Cup at Eden Park, New Zealand. He received it from Wally Edwards, ICC Director and Chairman of Cricket Australia.
16. Kshatrapati Shivaji appointed as CMD of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI)
Kshatrapati Shivaji was appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of SIDBI on 27 February 2015 on deputation basis for a period of three years. He is 1986 batch IAS officer and recently he is Principal Secretary of Finance Department in Maharashtra government.
17. Assamese dictionary for Science and Technology terms released
Dibrugarh University Vice Chancellor Dr Alok Kumar Buragohain on 26 February 2015 released first dictionary in Assamese language for Science and Technology terms. This dictionary have 1160-page with 40000 words ant it was prepared by Asomiya Jatiya Abhidhan (AJA) covers science, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Geology, Geography, Computer Science, Statistics and Astronomy stream words and easy to understand.
18. IBM tied-up with Tech Mahindra Ltd
International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) tied-up with IT services major Tech Mahindra Limited on 23 February 2015 to build a platform for development of cloud based application for its clients.
19. Lenovo slapped with lawsuit over Superfish adware
Lenovo was sued by unhappy customers over the Superfish adware on 24 February 2015.
20. National Stock Exchange signed MoU with GIFT to develop an international exchange in Gujarat
National Stock Exchange (NSE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) in the presence of Gujarat Finance Minister Saurabh Patel on 26 February 2015 to develop an international exchange in Gujarat. The GIFT Special Economic Zone is being developed as India’s first International Financial Services Centre (IFSC).
21. Justice Amitava Roy sworn in as Supreme Court judge
Chief Justice of Odisha High Court Amitava Roy was sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court on 27 February 2015. Now the strength of the SC judges is 29. SC has a sectioned strength of 31 judges.
22. Parliament of Jamaica passed a law to decriminalise marijuana for personal use
Parliament of Jamaica passed a law to decriminalise the possession of small amount of marijuana up to 57 grams for personal use on 25 February 2015.
23. Singapore Government appointed Gopinath Pillai as Special Envoy to Andhra Pradesh
On 26 February 2015 Singapore government appointed Gopinath Pillai as its special envoy to Andhra Pradesh. He was working as a Chairman of a Singapore based think-tank, Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS).
